Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

Bitcoinanonimi ("we", "us", "our") was built with privacy as a default principle. We believe financial privacy is a legitimate and fundamental right. This Privacy Policy explains what limited data we process when you use the Bitcoinanonimi website and services (the "Service"), why we process it and how long we keep it.

By using the Service you agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Privacy by Design

Bitcoinanonimi is a non-custodial service. We do not hold your private keys, user balances or wallets, and we collect only the data strictly necessary to execute a Swap and keep the Service secure. Wherever possible, data is processed automatically and is not linked to your real-world identity.

2. No Accounts, No Identity Collection

We do not require, and do not ask for:

  • registration or user accounts;
  • your name, email address or phone number;
  • identity verification (KYC) or personal documents.

We do not create user profiles and we do not sell, rent or trade user data.

3. Data We Process

Swap data. To create, execute and track a Swap we process:

  • the Destination Address and the optional Refund Address you provide;
  • the assets and amounts of the Swap, the Quote and the fees applied;
  • the Deposit Address, the Order ID, the Swap status and the related timestamps;
  • the identifiers of the Blockchain Transactions involved (transaction hashes) and the identifiers assigned by Third-Party Providers.

Technical data. When you create a Swap, we may record technical information sent by your browser, such as your IP address, browser type (user agent) and language preferences. This data is used only for security, fraud and abuse prevention, and to comply with the terms of our Third-Party Providers. Our servers may also keep basic technical logs for a short period, and your IP address is used temporarily to apply request rate limits.

Support data. If you contact us, we process the information you choose to share, such as your email address or Telegram username, your Order ID and the content of your messages, solely to answer your request.

Please note that Blockchain Transactions are, by their nature, recorded on public ledgers that we do not control and cannot modify or delete.

4. How We Use Data

We use the data described above exclusively to:

  • provide Quotes, create and execute Swaps and show you their progress;
  • process refunds and provide support;
  • maintain the security, integrity and stability of the Service and prevent abuse, fraud and prohibited activities;
  • comply with our legal obligations and with the terms of our Third-Party Providers.

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, profiling or automated decision-making with legal effects.

5. Cookies, Local Storage and Tracking

  • We do not use advertising cookies, analytics tools, tracking pixels or fingerprinting techniques.
  • The website only stores your language preference in your browser's local storage. It is never sent to us and you can delete it at any time from your browser settings.
  • Market prices are retrieved by our servers, so your browser does not connect to third-party price providers when you use the Service. The website does not load third-party scripts or fonts.

6. Sharing of Data

We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only to the extent strictly necessary:

  • Third-Party Providers. To execute a Swap, the swap aggregators and exchanges involved receive the data required to process it, such as the addresses, assets and amounts. All requests to them are made by our servers: we do not forward your IP address or browser information to them. Each provider processes this data under its own privacy policy, which we do not control.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose data where required by applicable law or a binding order of a competent authority, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims or to protect the rights, safety and security of the Service, our users or others. Because we collect very little data and do not link it to identities, the information available is minimal.
  • Business transfers. If the Service is transferred to a new operator, the limited data we hold may be transferred as part of the Service, subject to this Privacy Policy.

7. Data Retention

We keep data only for as long as it is necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, such as completing the Swap, handling refunds and support requests, preventing abuse and complying with legal obligations. Technical logs are kept only for a short period. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized. No long-term identity records are maintained.

8. Data Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the infrastructure of the Service and the limited data we process, including encrypted connections, network isolation and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Protecting Your Own Privacy

You can further protect your privacy by using a trusted VPN or the Tor Browser, by using a new address for each Swap and by contacting support through privacy-respecting channels. Remember that we cannot control the information you disclose elsewhere, for example to the wallets or exchanges you use.

10. Your Rights

Depending on the laws applicable to you, you may have the right to request access to, correction or deletion of data concerning you, or to object to or restrict its processing. Since we do not maintain accounts or identity records, we can only act on requests that include the Order ID of the Swap concerned. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to technical feasibility and to any legal obligation to retain certain data. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.

11. Age Restriction

The Service is not intended for persons under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly process data relating to minors.

12. International Processing

The Service and the Third-Party Providers involved in a Swap may operate in different countries. By using the Service you acknowledge that your data may be processed outside your country of residence, where data protection laws may differ.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by publishing the new version on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after the publication of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
